Blackbird was retained by an international airport to perform a hazardous materials and storage tank review of 8 tenants, including 7 car rental companies and a fuel storage and transfer operator.The scope of the review for the car rental companies included their Quick Turn Around (QTA) areas and Main Service Yards.Rental companies were involved in fuelling and de-fuelling vehicles, car washing, and engine and body maintenance.Topics in the review included: Petroleum Storage Tank(s), Hazardous Materials Inventory, Hazardous Materials Training, Hazardous Materials Storage, Hazardous Materials Handling, Hazardous Waste Management, and Emergency Spill Response. Individual reports were prepared for each tenant.
